Summary
“Could I get your number?” they ask, as if they’re not still a completely faceless enigma that’s been making one-sided passes for two weeks now.
“So I’m supposed to exchange messages with someone who I wouldn’t even be able to pick out of a police lineup if this ends up being just a long con to get me to join a cult?”
To her shock, they place an elbow on the bar, lean over, and lower the hood.
“Does this increase my chances?” they ask with a goofy smile.
They're cute. Like 90s teen drama cute. Like Catra could see them singing fucking annoying pop songs outside her window cute. That’s not good. This person is absolutely trouble.
“Fuck,” Catra breathes out. It kinda feels like someone just kicked her right in the gut in a thrilling way. “You couldn’t have the decency to make this easier by being ugly?”
Catra finally meets the woman of her dreams/nightmares, a goofball blonde with big captain save-a-ho energy. She's easy going, gets Catra's jokes, and likes her band, even though it's pretty shitty and Catra's sabotaging them from the inside. It's just a shame that the girl is already competing on a reality show for 20 women's hearts.

Adora gets a tattoo done by the hottest woman she has ever met and she tries so hard to be good and while completely missing all the signs that this woman was very interested in her. After the first meeting Adora tries to stay away, but she can't deny the attraction for long.

“Great, I’m Adora,” Adora said and closed her eyes as her blush darkened “I already said that, sorry. I’m nervous,” Adora blurted out and peaked through her eyelashes as she heard an adorable squeaky giggle fill the room.
Adora felt like she was going to faint, her heart should not be going this fast. It definitely felt like it was a hazard. She needed to keep herself in check, this woman was just doing her job and being friendly and Adora was being a complete mess. She felt a little ashamed that she was ogling her but it wasn’t her fault this woman was so hot. Adora needed to get it together and be normal.
“You’re ok, it's normal to be nervous. First time?” Catra asked as she raised one delicate eyebrow and Adora nodded her head to forgo speaking while she calmed herself down. “Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you. Come with me,”

Summary
Catra and Adora have been best friends for their entire lives. They grew up together, went through NROTC together, and now, they fly the F-14 Tomcat together.
As far as Catra is concerned, things are finally going pretty well for once; she gets paid (PAID!) to fly off of an aircraft carrier, her jet the undisputed ruler of whatever airspace she happens to be in.
Adora, on the other hand, hadn't really planned on being a RIO. It just sort of happened, and she just sort of rolled with it. When she meets a pink-haired Hornet pilot at a bar, though, Adora has a hard time shaking the thought that maybe the back seat isn't where she wants to spend the rest of her career.
