Summary
Simon was torn after Soaps death. Even after 3 years he still hadn't gotten over it, spiralling down into a deep depression of failed attempts at ending his life. Johnny had pulled Simon out of his darkness, shinning a beam of light through the darkness that clawed at his mind. Now that he's gone, no one to stop him, he decides to let himself sink into the endless void of darkness and hatred. Just as he was on the brink of death, he was dragged back to the past, a month before the incident. Just enough time to change something, anything.

If you asked Soap how he imagined the end of the world, he would laugh it off like a joke. He would never have imagined it was zombies, moving and shuffling, clicking and whispering. He sometimes swore he could hear words, like the people infected weren't dead… just controlled. He doesn't recall how it started; that was years ago. What he could remember was how quickly it spread, chaos spreading through the night.
