Summary
It was another question he didn’t know the answer to, so he didn’t dwell on it for long. He didn’t, for he was still waiting.
And oh, how he had always waited. He’d waited for so long that he was so sick and tired of it, of living a life of unanswered questions, of unsaid goodbyes, of indirect truths. He needed a closure, an end to this dramatic play that he, admittedly, stepped into and damn it all if he wasn’t taking the shot.
He was going to live long enough to see that conclusion.
