“You came to us,” Focus replied simply.
“Us?” Thunderfang tensed as Focus's massive heads swung into view. Two magnificent bird-like heads, pushed together to give the illusion of one great dragon. All of her eight eyes were focused on the Shatter Dragon.
“What do you think you deserve after death?” Focus ignored Thunderfang’s insulted scoff.

Summary
Someone tackled her, their hands pressing against her mouth. Austral fought viciously, but held herself back just in case. Her attacker wasn't hurting her, perhaps it's someone she's been looking for. How many Formling survivors were there, now?
“Oh,” her attacker’s strength immediately vanished. They slithered off of her, standing up and offering her a hand. “You're a Formling, too. Sorry. I thought you were someone else. Don't speak!” He held a finger to his mouth as he whispered so quietly that Austral almost couldn't hear. “It’s not safe out here. Come with me. I'll explain everything.”

Summary
The Ice Emperor had plenty of time to discover the questionable restrictions that came with being nothing more than a vision. For one, he couldn’t change. He’s stuck in the frostbitten armor that has weighed him down for nearly a century, the most he could do was take his helmet and mask off. It was ridiculously frustrating for moments like these, where he had ventured a little too far into his memory as he recalled the better days of him and Vex. Luckily, he could very briefly lift this curse, as he had the ability to repossess Zane’s own body when the nindroid was offline. If only he would fall asleep faster. The Emperor growled again.

Summary
Pixal was not blind. She was no fool, either. After waking up from a years-long stasis, she feels as though her senses may have even sharpened. Not that that matters, because Zane was never subtle, anyway. Not to her.
From the second she saw him, she knew something was up. His artificial heart had been pounding, the electrical signature from it spiking dramatically with every beat. And the way he looked at her… Zane was always one for dramatics, but he was so hopeful when he saw her. He was so happy. It was like he thought he would wake from a dream at any second, and he was trying to hold onto it for as long as he could.
It was kind of cute, the way he seemed to believe he was doing a good job of hiding what he really wanted.
OR: Pixal has returned, and Zane couldn't be happier to see her again.
