Summary
Solaris was fighting against a villain who could teleport using the shadows. No wonder the fight has been taking so long.
Whatever.
He feels tired, and he needs to sleep. Tomorrow he has to do his groceries before heading to work. He gets up and hums pleasantly as he watches the fight travel away from him and as another hero assists Solaris.
Finally the fight will be-
BANG!
Catnap hisses and whips around at the noise.
He’s met with the outside. And as his gaze follows the small bit of debris from his now missing wall he finds Solaris.
Knocked out.

or, in which Catnap is that one coffee shop worker who is overpowered but has left his old life behind and now lives paycheck to paycheck, and he’s fine with it, as long as he never goes back to the people he ran from. And it lasts a while, until the hero Solaris crashes through his living room wall and into his couch where he just kinda gets knocked unconscious. -

Summary
Deep sirens have more pressuring instincts that if ignored will only worsen. And the way that Catnap is literally half holding his tail to stop himself from swimming out is enough evidence that he has been ignoring them for a while.
But why? Why now? What are they trying to make him do this time that feels so important. Dogday isn’t in any danger for them to practically demand him to drag him to the nest and-

He shook his head, ears flopping down, “No… I don’t want to risk him being exposed-”
Hoppy’s entire body seemed to perk up, her ears standing up and her legs giving a little hop. “Hey! Dogday!” she yelled out as she walked closer to him. “Why don’t we ask your lover boy?”
Silence.
Dogday pulled his ears to cover his face as he grumbled in frustration as Crafty put her hand on her hip and stared at Hoppy in an ‘are you serious’ manner.
“Did I hear that right?” Asked Kicking as he scratched his ear.

Catnap, a siren, had befriended Dogday, a fisherman. And after saving him and his friend made a couple more land dwelling friends.
But, he still has to yet meet the others.
The perfect time comes when the critters accidently find themselves lost at sea and Hoppy, in a moment of genius, outs his presence.

Summary
He heard a splash to his right. He whipped his head around fast enough to catch a tail going back under. It was a deep lavender color with splotches of purple and dark purple the closer it got to the end. The fins were nearly black with how dark of a purple they were but they were speckled with golden flecks.
Dogday stared at the tail in awe.
Never has he seen a fish of that coloration around. Ever.

With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, people would think you would be set. And they would be right of course since you managed to get a job at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex as a mechanic. But you decided to run life on hard mode signing up to get another bachelors in computer science! With the higher-up's approval, that is, since you had signed away your soul to the Freddy Fazbear. At least your pay is good enough to pay off your new classes.
Oh, there is also the fact that you're primarily the Daycare Attendents' mechanic, and you also have to help out at the Daycare part-time. But hey, you're a tired college student who survives on caffeine and spite, so there is no way this can go wrong, right?
