A part of Lucifers punishment was to see his mate be locked in a dungeon in heaven to be tortured forever before throwing him in his cage in hell. When he sees his father again most of the anger is for the injustice his mate had to endure. After God apologizes to him in that scene he reunites him with his mate (reader).
