He was happy with his relationships with his guys, the pard was starting to get on its feet, and the magic of the land was truly starting to settle after the upheaval of him claiming magical lordship over St. Louis.
Everything was going great.
Until a new arrival or two threatened to upend the status quo - and shatter the bonds that Harry had been forming in his new world and new life along with it.
Not everyone was content with the new state of affairs - either the vampires coming out into the public eye or Harry's position as the first magical lord in living memory - and one in particular was going to to his best to ruin what Harry and Jean-Claude were trying to build.
