Ryujin kicks at the ground and wishes for a cigarette. Fuck impossible–this is some shit straight out of a crappy, discontinued shonen anime. There’d been an Aberrant that had slipped under their radar–maybe because of the exhaustion, maybe because of their carelessness, maybe because at the end of the day, they’re just scared little kids masquerading in suits who have no fucking clue what they’re doing–and hit Glasses square in the forehead. And now she’s off in La La Land and some unfortunate soul has to go in and pull her out of her own head.
The unfortunate soul in question of course being Ryujin, courtesy of Iseul’s appointment as de facto leader.
