Optinus looked at him, confused, afraid, until – of course. The conjunx endura bond. Hurting him, really hurting him, hurt Megatron, too.

New York is a big city with millions of people in it. This fact is unlikely to protect you from running into the on-again-off-again ex girlfriend you awkwardly and abruptly proposed marriage to and then haven't seen for two years, however. Getting coffee with a friend, Rico runs into Val, to both of their dismay, and he finds that in order to repair any semblance of friendship they might have ever had, he's probably going to have to tell her about the whole "caught feelings for my best male friend and we live together as lovers now" *thing.*
