    Honestly, he looked like a child struggling to reach his next birthday on his own. In an oversized, faded sweater, with bruises on his forearms, and a still unhealed, split lip, he definitely didn't resemble the little terrorist Phil had carefully guarded all sharp objects from. More like a victim of a natural disaster. As if he had spent hours on the roof escaping a flood, only to be carried away by a tornado.

    But burying the knives was still a good idea. The kid seemed to trip over while making a sandwich."

    This series is a filthy book of mind games, torture, and rape. It's a "Dead Dove: Do Not Eat" because it's brutal and messed up. At first, it was meant to be mostly torture porn, but then it somehow turned into this plotty thing I completely lost control over, exploring the complicated, twisted mindsets and the relationship between kidnapper and victim.

    A short and vague summary of the plot: In his junior year of high school, Peter, his history class, and some other people are taken hostage by the Avengers. Tony, the gruesome, terrifying leader of the Avengers, takes a nasty interest in Peter when he spots him amongst the hostages, and starts abusing him non stop. Determined to break Peter and turn him into a willing sex slave, Tony spares no effort in tormenting and manipulating him, but in time, he slowly starts to lose himself in the process. And when he finally finds out that his feelings for Peter are not what he thought they were, it might already be too late for his and for Peter’s sanity.

    Part one and two feature the kidnapping, part three - that would be a spoiler. Part four contains some short stories and one-shots (which will still be updated from time to time).

    District Attorney Bruce Wayne has managed to upset the wrong people. Again.

    The trial of Alexander Luthor is the trial of the century. If Bruce took home a win, he'd make history books. However, Luthor is determined not to go to prison. He hires a mercenary to kidnap the D.A.'s grown ward and keep him hidden away to ensure that Wayne throws the trial.

    Dick Grayson didn't ask for this. He left Bruce's money and secure, expensive Manor in order to strike out on his own. Maybe bartending isn't what he had in mind, but it's paying (most of) his bills. Right up until Slade Wilson breaks into his home and holds him hostage. Between the kidnapping and the man's short temper, the imminent threat of his death, Dick should have no reason to care for the man keeping him locked up.

    Dick spends 584 days in captivity, confined with only his captor for company. But when freedom comes within reach, Dick may not choose to walk away.
