Summary
Izuku is a vampire, turned long ago when he was foolish enough to trust someone he shouldn't. But it was that mistake that led him to his soulmates, and even if it made him a monster, he can't regret it.
In every lifetime, Izuku finds them, only to lose them again and again. It's always worth it, love in exchange for loss.
But he's old, and he's tired.
He'll find them one more time, give his heart to them like he's done a dozen times over. He'll live this last life with them, and then make his exit.
He should have known they wouldn't let it be that simple.

Offering to die for someone-saying that you would, giving up your life for theirs-surely that’s meaningful, surely that’s supposed to mean something, show a devotion in a wholly unique way.
But Izuku is learning otherwise. Death isn’t much of a commitment-it’s there and over. Here and gone, without having to deal with any consequences, just getting something over with.
No, it’s offering to live for someone that’s so much harder. That takes effort, that takes dedication and work to maintain. Izuku’s starting to learn just how much effort it takes.
But if nothing else, he can do this. He’ll live for them, if he can’t give them anything else, he’ll give them that. He will stay alive.
Of course, that goal is getting harder to maintain by the day when it seems like the world is hell bent on making him break his promises-but he’s fine. He just needs to keep pressing forward and push away the past. He can be fine. And he will stay alive. For them.Ex-vigilante Izuku works his way through class 1-A with Dadzawa at his side. What more could you ask for?

Izuku sits in class, doing his best to focus, to not pay attention to the things being sneered his direction. His scarred hands are already shaking but his tears have long dried up. It is the third month of this and he hasn’t been able to eat much lately. He knows he will lose muscle mass, knows he needs all his vitamins and minerals, protein, carbs, and fiber, but he just keeps vomiting as his nerves build throughout the day. He is worried he will get sick in the middle of class one of these instances. Suddenly the bell rings and it’s lunch time.
Do NOT challenge me with "You are too fluffy and soft, you can't write angst at all." It puts me in a freakin' mood. "Gem woke up and chose VIOLENCE."
