„Anita..” – she growled, and that minute Carlos understood, she was not seeing him, but this Anita woman, whom her mother claimed had ruined her life. She told him how she looked like, even had a picture of her, big brown eyes, unruly curly ginger hair, freckles, a fair complexion. With a start, Carlos realized, he kind of looked like her.
„M-mom?” – Carlos started to say, but Cruella cut him off, crossing the room in huge steps, grabbing his neck, pushing him into the stove, the oil burning his hand as he let go of the frying pan.
„Oh, Anita dear~” – his mother sang. „I can’t wait to skin you and wear your pretty freckled skin as a new coat.”

Mike stumbled a little, his eyes wide. “I-- I know we all miss her, Will. I just--”
“Just what, Mike?” Will couldn’t stop the rage bubbling at his surface, his arms tightly crossed over his chest. “You think because she was your girlfriend means more than the fact that she’s my sister? That she isn’t our parents’ daughter?”
“That’s not fair,” he said weakly.

Alex’s voice cuts in beside me. “Oh.”
I blink. “What?”
Alex’s eyes flick between me and the far end of the room, sharp with sudden understanding. “That’s him, isn’t it.”
My throat works. “Yeah.”
“Wow,” Alex says softly. “Okay. That is… a look.”
“I don’t have a look,” I mutter.
“You absolutely do,” he replies. “You look like someone just reached into your chest and shook everything loose.”

Where Will has gone to college and has made a couple of new friends. He hasn’t seen Mike Dustin or Lucas in about a year. But when Will gets an invitation to Steve Harrington's engagement party, Will brings his new friends along with him. But when Will introduces them, and things get a bit awkward between Mike and Will, Mike confesses his feelings towards Will.
