Hey! This is my third time EVER writing a fan fiction, and while its probably going to be terrible and abandoned like the rest, i still would like to post it somewhere other than tumblr. Sorry if it really sucks, im not good at writing. I can't decide if these are one shots or an actual story, but for now the chapters will be related in some shape or form. I'll take requests too if you really want one. I don't write smut, and be warned that if you ask for angst it'll probably not be very good :(

Summary
You had spent most of your life studying to be a part of the Avatar Program on Pandora. You were happy to be behind the scenes, monitoring the pilots and making new discoveries on this vast scientific frontier. That is until everything you thought you knew is shattered before your very eyes and your life is cut tragically short.

You’re just an ordinary fan, reliving your childhood thanks to the hype that The Incredibles movie has sparked once again. Theories, fanart, TikTok videos… the fandom felt more alive than ever. But then something strange happens: without knowing how, you wake up inside the story itself, right in the golden age of the Supers—before they became illegal.
The date confirms it: 1957. The newspapers are filled with headlines celebrating Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, and so many other heroes who, according to the canon you know by heart, are doomed to a tragic fate in Operation Kronos.
With that knowledge carved into your mind, there’s only one possible mission: stop Operation Kronos and save all the Supers. But nothing here is as simple as it seemed in your world. Here, heroes are flesh and blood, and things don’t always follow the script of an animated movie.

It’s difficult being a single father, but Nick does as best he can at raising his little girl, Kim, in a house on his own. With how much he works, he’s often worried about her feeling lonely- but thankfully loneliness doesn’t seem to be much of a problem for her with how many imaginary friends she seems to have. Nick has overheard her reading stories with her teddy bear, giggling and laughing as she entertains herself with a board game, and playing pirate with the ship in a bottle. Most children probably wouldn’t be found trying to strike up a conversation with something like a vacuum, microwave, or the hangers in their closet- but Nick just figures that his daughter is on the more imaginative side. As long as she’s happy and not getting hurt, what’s the harm? In any case, he loves hearing about the antics that Kim and her imaginary friends get up to. Though those friends may not be as “imaginary” as Nick believes them to be…
