“So, are you gonna take your coat off and stay awhile or—?” Cam crossed to her fridge and opened it, reaching out of habit for the vodka on the bottom shelf, “I know it’s probably not what you’re used to, but I’ve got—”
Cam cut herself off when she heard Rebecca exhale. And she glanced up just in time to see Rebecca’s long overcoat hit the floor. And, granted, that normally might’ve annoyed Cam just a little bit because she had a perfectly good coat rack behind her door.
But all things considered, the reckless placement and overall significance of the coat were easily forgotten because Rebecca was now standing in the middle of her living room--completely naked.
“Wow." Cam croaked, "Subtle.”
Rebecca’s lips quirked into a teasing smile and she took a bold step toward Cam, narrowing the chasm between them considerably.
“You’re the one who wanted to skip dinner.”
Oh. Right.
*This is just my version of what could have happened when Rebecca and Cam had their "after dinner" rendezvous. There are some really awesome ones already out there and I encourage you to read them all! Because these two characters deserve all the love! (I wrote this while waiting for the finale, can you tell??)

Summary
Cam’s already looking at her, curious and hesitant and so, so pretty. There’s new wrinkles next to her eyes, small and blooming, that weren’t there when Rebecca had seen her last. Obviously. And Rebecca thinks about her own wrinkles, and the wrinkles that Cam will develop in five years, in ten years. The thought makes tears prick in her eyes.
