After her abusive father takes it a step too far, Leah and her father move to Beacon Hills where she meets the newly established werewolf and his slightly spazzy best friend. The thing is, she has a weird connection to them. They drive her crazy, in both a good and bad way. Maybe Beacon Hills is where she was meant to be.
- I really did appreciate him helping me. Now that the adrenaline had started to wear off, I could feel the way my shirt was clinging uncomfortably to my skin and the cold was starting to seep into my bones. I looked over to where Scott was sitting on a stool next to the dog and found him staring at me. Or well, at my chest. I followed his gaze and found out why he was staring so hard. The cold had caused my nipples to pebble and the water had my shirt to acting as a second skin.
A noise between a whimper and a cough escaped my throat and my arms came up to cover my chest. I flushed, burning my cheeks, down my neck and over my chest in patches of pink skin. Scott jerked his eyes up in embarrassment before apologizing and asking if I'd like to have his spare shirt.
To avoid any more embarrassment I agreed.

Summary
After 2020 the world went to shit. Surviving in the post apocalypse isn't as hard as you might think it is, for a human that is. Thank god the guardians belief is based on the percentage of believers and not the number itself. Still recognizing that the humans may need help they decide to implement a process of their own. Teach the humans how to live properly, and then release them to go teach other humans. The 'program' has been going pretty decent in the past 5 years, but most of the humans are grateful and happy that they get to learn that there childhood heroes are real. Again. Most humans. Some people just want to be left alone, yet their wish gets denied as they are voluntold into the process. Some People meaning our main character Chris. Join her as she navigates the new world and what she decides to do with the choices she has been given.
