Summary
Five years into their partnership, Mulder and Scully had uncovered some of the strangest truths the world could offer, faced darkness and doubt side by side, and forged a bond that ran deeper than most would ever understand. Scully decides to start living her life outside of the X-Files and begins dating. Despite being in a stable relationship, she is drawn to Mulder, until eventually, after a tough case the two end up in bed together. Shortly after this, Mulder disappears, leaving Scully completely lost. Without him by her side, Scully has to build another life for herself. But what happens when there's a chance that Mulder may return? Can she go back to being his Scully or has too much time passed?
