“Oh, hi, Ilya,” Harris said pleasantly when Ilya tapped on the doorframe of his office. He was smiling and sipping a coffee. He didn’t look like someone that was willfully breaking his boyfriend’s heart.
Ilya had considered—back when they’d all thought that Troy was an asshole, if one that was at least attempting to reform—that he should make sure Troy knew to be careful with Harris’s heart. “Daniel.” Maddie said in a stern, curt tone. “Stop it.”
“I just think he should know.” Daniel gestured lazily, but defended passionately. “Evan can't do it.”
