“Let’s have another,” Alec prodded, cradling his pup in one arm while grasping onto his alpha’s shirt with the other, as they walked from the bedroom to the kitchen. “No,” Magnus immediately disagreed, detouring to the living room to force his omega into resting. “Our pup will be lonely,” The omega immediately whined, lifting him up for emphasis. Magnus had confided within him multiple times the feeling of loneliness he often felt as a child only being around his father constantly due to needing to be trained into a proper Prime Alpha, even as a pup. “Omega pups need nestmates,” Alec continued, only sitting down to avoid the naggings that were sure to come if he didn’t. “Our pup is only 2 weeks old, he needs milk and cuddles more than a nestmate,” His alpha stood firm in his belief, readjusting the pup’s socks and mittens to his liking before turning on his heel to find a blanket. Although the loft was set at a comfortable temperature, the alpha was firm in his beliefs of his pup being cold and needing to be held and bundled up every moment of the day.
