This is an AU idea with Smilk And of course Pure vanilla, Pure vanilla in this case is the king and Shadow Milk is like one of those Court jesters who entertains people but he gets cursed by some unknown thing ? And no one remembers the shows he puts on for people ever and after every show they forget what they watched happen except for Pure Vanilla who can still see him and remember him and it ends up a whole adventure to try and break the curse because it is way more complicated then it seems because his shadows move on their own sometimes even playing tricks without him acknowledging it. (This is my first ever fic… bear with me 😅)
