Summary
All Lilith could feel is pain. Overwhelming, all-encompassing pain. Her skin fluctuates between a cold burn and a freezing flame. An intense throbbing radiates through her stomach, pulsing along to the rhythm of her heartbeat. Her head feels a familiar torn sensation, as if someone has reached inside and ripped her brain in half. But through it, the notes of a piano, a soothing melody, comes through, and for the first time in months, she wakes.
