“Fascinating, huh?” Wriothesley props his chin on his hand and lifts both brows. “What about them has you so enraptured?”
And Neuvillette, who isn’t in the throes of it yet, who is still quite reasonable, replies, “They’ve touched your mouth,” without thinking. He freezes, immediately horrified, his face flaming.

With a wave of her hand, Minthara gestures lazily towards the hallway where the two guards have resumed their posts. At becoming the topic of conversation, they both turn curiously to look into the room - and, upon seeing the hostess glaring at them, promptly remove their gazes once more.
"They are guards, Mistress. Not whores. I'm sure we have others to your liking--"
"I did not ask if they are whores, child. I asked how much."
Minthara has some time before she has to meet with her conspirators, and pays a visit to a popular establishment.
