Summary
The Squawk had become their cover, their communication hub, their war room. Robin did the actual broadcasts mostly playing music and reading pre-written community updates approved by the military presence in town, but the real purpose was the coded messages. Steve had helped her set up the whole system, spending hours figuring out how to get all the sound effects she wanted, taping things to walls and attempting to MacGyver random things around the station.
That was just who Steve was, but looking around the room now, Robin wondered more and more if anyone else actually saw that.

“You’ve got a lot of nerve showing up here!” Tommy exclaimed, jerking the door open. He didn’t say anything after that, probably sizing Steve up and trying to figure things out.
“I’m in heat.” Steve admitted, not looking at Tommy.
“Aw, jeez.” Tommy said with a sigh. “Alright, alright. Guess I can just call and try to explain it to Carol from your place?” Tommy grinned but it didn’t really reach his eyes.

Summary
Billy and Max escape Neil and move to Hawkins, where Billy sets his sights on Steve Harrington.

Steve's whole body is a line of tension water dripping down his spine as he moves to get dressed. "King Steve." Billy calls just to see what reaction he will get, has seen Steve glare at Tommy numerous times over the moniker. Now is no different, he might feel bad if he didn't find the little snarl Steve lets out adorable.
"Don't call me that." Steve hisses fangs just barely visible from where they have dropped and eyes flashing as he drags his boxers on under the towel. Billy wishes he would just drop the towel completely so he can fully enjoy the show.
"What would you prefer I call you?" Billy steps closer licking his teeth as Steve drops the towel pulling his pants up.
"Steve, you know my actual name by itself." Steve points out.
"That's no fun pretty boy." Billy enjoys the flush that creeps over Steve's skin his scent spiking sweetly.

Summary
It started off as an itch beneath the surface of his skin, no matter how hard Steve pressed his nails could never dig through, could never scratch the discontent that simmered just beneath.
Tommy says it’s nothing, signs of an early rut approaching, meds wearing off after taking them for so long. Only Steve knows Tommy is full of shit and this doesn’t feel like a rut.
