He was finally back. He was here in the BAU conference room, safe and all in one piece. Reid was incredibly relieved. He felt like a 100-pound weight of worry was gone from his shoulders.
And he was embarrassed to admit that all he could think about was the dark sweep of stubble across Hotch’s jaw.
Or, it's the beginning of Season 7, and Hotch has unexpectedly returned from Pakistan. Reid is delighted by his new look. A very tender (and passionate) reunion ensues.
