Summary
Nakahara Chūya left the Port Mafia four years ago, during the worst of what became known as "The Port Mafia Raids" or just "The Raids". Despite being emotionally unstable and unable to properly care for himself, he attempted to make a better name for himself in the world of the light, rather than the underworld he grew up in. After being referred to the Armed Detective Agency, Chūya passed a modified version of the exam and has now been a member for the past two years, and even recently took in a mentee or two.
But when things get sticky with the Port Mafia, Chūya is forced to confront a past he wished would just stay buried. But emotions that strong don't go away with time, and he realizes that he could never truly live without his other half. As the two of them work through the four years of ghosting and pain between them, other organizations inside and outside of Yokohama start causing trouble. And it's not long before Chūya is used against the one who loves him most.
But those in the underworld should know never to mess with Dazai Osamu's pet.
