Summary
An AU where Tim was imprisoned by Black Mask for most of his adolescence, trained to be his successor. His reintroduction to Gotham - and to Gotham's vigilantes - could go a little smoother. At least enough of his morality sticks around that he can probably consider himself safe from being a supervillain.
Though he isn't quite sure he qualifies for "superhero," either.

Summary
Peter Burke was well aware that Neal Caffrey would never stop surprising him. He had learned that all the way back during his years of chasing the other man, and the idea had only been cemented in his head once Neal started working as his CI. However, given that he'd been working with him for a while now, Peter liked to think that he was well prepared for the next time Neal decided to do something that changed their perception of who Neal Caffrey was.
At least until he pulled up to June's one day to see Neal acting as if nothing was different.
As if Peter couldn’t see the whole entire second person clinging to Neal. -
