Summary
"I care about Henry. I care about him more than I will ever admit. More than I could ever comprehend. Does he care about me this deeply? Is he afraid of losing me? Does Henry think of me every waking moment of his life? Does he dream about me? Does he feel lost without me too? Then again, why would he? He doesn’t need me, not anymore. He is Sir Radzig’s son."

Summary
“You were right. When you said no one could be proud of me.”
Henry closes his eyes. The bed frame soaked up the fire's warmth, a compress pressed along his side. The flame sputters, cracks.
“I was angry. And I couldn’t have possibly meant it, when I know it’s not true.”

Summary
Henry is determined to protect Hans at all costs, unable to bear watching him suffer in a war that is nothing more than the result of his own vengeance.
But this time, it’s Henry who is in danger, consumed by memories and a will that the water will slowly wash away.
Hans can’t afford to lose him—not like this, not after everything Henry has been through, including the pain he believes he caused him.
So this time, Hans will be the one to save him, revealing feelings he can no longer hide.
Or: Henry nearly drowns, and Hans saves him—indirectly kissing him in the process.

Summary
It was always a foregone conclusion: brother against brother, light versus dark. It was going to be Reaper against Soldier: 76, Reyes against Morrison. There was no arguing this, there was no doubt-- it was meant to be. Destined. Perhaps this was why the sight of Jack Morrison's body came as such a shock, even to someone who had been hellbent on killing him for five years.
Gabriel has a postmortem conversation with Jack as he tries to come to terms with his rival's unexpected death.
