Summary
When she had been younger, her parents believed she needed fixing, and so had enrolled her in a youth catholic school. There, she had learned many stories of the world– but none had been more intriguing to her young mind than the story of the 10 plagues. It shouldn't have, of course, as a lady of her type should be better focused on the virginal Mary, or bettering herself to prevent the shortcomings of Eve. And yet, at night, she would whisper the Exodus to herself, engraining the story in her mind.
As she stands in this now too-red room, there is nothing more for a God-fearing woman to do.
(Chapter 5 of the book rewritten in Theodoras POV with a little religious spice sprinkled in. And some lesbian angst. not that Theodora realizes. Starts simple and purple-prosey but trust)
