    Even though everything turned out mostly okay, there was no denying Weirdmeggedon had sucked. So when Mabel found a Time Tape she suggested they go back in time and... rearrange a few things. After all, nothing bad had happened with time traveling before, right? Besides, it wouldn't be that hard to fix the past. They just had to stop Grunkle Ford from finishing the portal and getting sucked into it.

    “Who’s there?” He demands, spinning frantically and pressing his back against the door. The voice is booming, nothing like the rasp Dipper is familiar with in his Grunkle’s voice, but the boy cannot ignore the waver that hides beneath its volume.

    With his back now turned away… what stands out to Dipper most is the pair of eyes that mirror what he sees in his own reflection. It’s the soft, round shape, the dark brown irises that appear almost black until struck by a light. It’s all so inextricably familiar that Dipper can’t ignore sudden warmth flooding his chest.
