Will has never been lucky.
He wasn’t lucky the day the pediatrician at the clinic told his parents he was an omega, despite what everyone else said. The underpaid and overworked nurse shoving pamphlets into his parents’ hands and recommending they find him a place (a school or a benefactor looking to buy a mate).
He wasn’t lucky the day he got caught out in the rain walking home from school, despite what he thought when a car slowed to a crawl beside him. A nice enough looking man leaning his way across a shabby honda (years newer than his own parents Junker).
And he wasn’t lucky when he met Hannibal Lecter in that shitty row home, despite what he desperately wanted to believe.

Summary
It's been two years since Hannibal and Will left Baltimore behind to start their new life together. They are not alone. With Abigail restored to them, the trio have made real the promise of family. While they have yet to find a place where they can truly settle down, their bond has grown closer with each passing day. However, the past is not quite done with them. When they realize that they are being hunted down, it becomes clear that it's time to cut the ties that bind — once and for all.
This story is canon-divergent, branching off from that fateful "last supper" in Mizumono.

A god capable monstrosities that Hannibal’s young mind has barely seen the shape of.
Except his mind is not that of a boy. He is a man, now. He is a man and he is alive. Alive and safe and fed, stomach still half-full from the dinner he and Will had shared not six hours prior; freshly caught fish and roasted vegetables, something warm and hearty for the climate.

Hannibal’s avoided Eastern Europe for a reason.

Summary
"Do you want me to get tampons as well?" Will asks, and it's out of genuine care but she flinches anyway. "Sorry, I'm not… trying to make this awkward."
"No, no, it's not you, it's just…" she tails off, brow furrowing as she turns her face away to stare at the floor. Her arms come up to cross over her chest like a barricade.
She takes a deep breath and continues in a small, embarrassed voice, face contorting in disgust as she tries to dislodge the words from her throat. "Once I left my jacket in the bathroom and when I went back to get it, my dad was sucking the period blood out of the tampon I'd just put in the trash."
Abigail gets her period at Will's place and discovers what a father should be. Amidst ice cream and a movie, she also discovers how a mother's absence leaves a gaping hole that can never quite be filled.
