CC-2224 had no reason to be nervous, so CC-2224 acted as normal. Cody, however, knew better and had been getting more and more tense all day.
That feeling he sometimes got at the edge of his awareness was screaming at him louder than it ever had before, sitting low in his stomach, and buzzing in the air. It had begun yesterday after training, when the Kaminoans started paying more attention to him than usual. Great.
As he always did when he had that same bad feeling he didn’t react, but he was on high alert. Not that he could usually do much about that it anyways.

Summary
Cody and Obi-Wan have forged a strong connection in the short time they spent together, but thanks to Cody's overprotective family, their paths have diverged.
Now, Cody has to deal with the aftermath of his capture and enslavement, as well as the demands his family places on him, all while missing the man he fell in love with. In the process, he rediscovers his love for his people.
On his travels with the Mandalorians, Obi-Wan has been confronted with the flaws of the Jedi Order, and now he struggles to reconnect with the Jedi when his heart lies elsewhere.

Mace knows that it's not obvious that he's an omega. Given his stature and lack of any real instinctual omega behaviors on the day-to-day, most assume that he is a beta. Mace isn't in the business of caring about what others think of him, so it's never been anything to worry about. Personally, he enjoys his omega status and his body, even if it hasn't been responding to an alpha how it used to. Then he meets Jaster, and it does. Too much.
I can't even call this an AU, this is the writing equivalent of me taking paper cutouts of my current favorite rarepair and going "now kiss" (with omegaverse connotations).
