Summary
Explaining to May that they had, accidentally, regressed her 16-year-old nephew to a pint-sized toddler wasn't one of his proudest moments. For someone so small she sure as hell packs a punch and knows a lot of colorful language in both English and Italian it seems.
How were they supposed to know that the stupid rock changed powers when moved to another realm? It didn't come with an instructions manual. (They found that one later in the Asgardian library after some digging buy Thor and Loki).

Or Parker luck strikes again and Peter is now a pint-sized toddler spending his birthday with the Avengers, just not how he thought he would. Tony tries (and succeeds, don't doubt yourself so Tony) to be there for Peter and fluff and cuddles occur. A tiny bit of angst in the future. -

Flips it open. Thumbs the contact button. Hovers over Rogers' name. Flips it shut.
Tony Stark is conflicted.
Rogers said it himself, or wrote it, actually. No matter what. If he needed the man, or his "team", he'd be there. And fuck, he does need him. It's been nine months and he has still made no progress. Tony is at a dead fucking end, and he can't keep doing it by himself. He needs Captain America and his highly observant allies with eyes and ears everywhere right now.
The kid needs him right now.
Nine months after Spider-Man has gone missing, the majority of New York presumes him to be dead. That, or he just gave up on them. But a select few know the truth. Peter Parker, the 15-year-old behind the mask, is missing, taken after a patrol gone wrong. Now, Tony Stark must reunite the Avengers after their so called “Civil War” if he hopes to bring the kid home.
God, this is going to kill him, isn’t it? That is, if the other Avengers don’t kill him first.

It’s been months since Rasputin and Disappear-O the Magnificent almost sent Tony and the others to a watery grave. Things have been pleasantly looking up since then. For starters, Tony felt as close as ever with the kid. Of course, trying to distinguish the difference between normal teenage angst and something else that could be seriously wrong with his protege was proving to be...a challenge. And walking into the kitchen to find the Winter Soldier eating his food was not helping.
Meanwhile, Peter has a whole new school year to look forward to. And with the addition of old friends popping back into his life, he was sure things could only get better from this point on. Sure, sleeping was a little rough lately, but no big deal. And he really needed to figure out how to remove this black slime from his backpack. But yeah, everything’s great.
Things were great. Totally great.
Although, now that he was being honest with himself, Peter was feeling a bit sick lately. And for real, what was with this black slime?
(Or: OsCorp is inadvertently ruining everyone's lives and Tony is done with this B.S.)
