Arthur, Queen of Hearts, and Francis, King of Diamonds, both attend Alfred's coronation. Per tradition, at the coronation's conclusion the newly crowned King of Spades also initiates the Searching Ceremony to find the next Queen of Spades.

Summary
Stolas panted, looking up at his tired husband as he rested against the imp's chest. Suddenly, he grabbed the man by his collar and pulled him down, his words dripping with agony and exhaustion.
"If you.." Pant, pant pant. "Ever.." Pant, pant, pant. "Doubt my love for you again." He paused another rush of pain took over him, groaning as Octavia immediately rushed to hold the birthing man's hand. His eyes were squeezed closed as he breathed, his head hung back and resting against Blitzø's shoulder.
When the contraction ended and Stolas finally resurfaced, he continued his sentence, his head rolling over so he was closer to Blitzø's ear, his voice quiet and raspy. "Just remember that I willingly put myself through this."
The imp swallowed thickly and nodded, petting the avian demon's feathers. "I know, pretty bird, I know." He offered a small smile and pressed a kiss to his forehead. "Keep pushing through the pain, kay? You still got awhile till you can squeeze the little fucker out."
