Summary
“What are you drinking?” Nigel asked, a little louder this time. He felt his annoyance untwist into something a bit softer as he watched the kid sweat in the heat of too many bodies marinating in one spot.
“I’m not drinking,” the kid managed, fingers tapping out a staccato rhythm on the bar. And then he hurried to add, like Nigel was going to judge him for drinking in a fucking bar, “I don’t drink.”
Nigel eyed the kid’s heaving chest. “How about a water?”
Post-Canon for both universes, Adam and Nigel meet in a bar in California, and Nigel is unfortunately unaware of the abusive relationship Adam is stuck in. He won’t remain unaware for long, though.

Summary
“How is Will Graham?”
This time Alana does flinch, quite visibly, at which his past counterpart gives her a cruel little smirk. Hannibal, however, feels his lips pull back from his teeth, the urge to rip her throat out with one carefully placed bite overwhelming him. The recreation is unaware of the danger, and straightens her spine to face the monster in the cage with fragile defiance weaved into every pulse of her racing heart. She briefly locks her jaw, then releases the tension, and announces: “He's getting married tomorrow.”
