The original plot of Heated Rivalry...but reversed. What if instead of being public rivals and secretly fuck-buddies, Hollanov were two guys who hated each other put into a PR relationship?
It’s June 1st and Shane is pulled into a conference room with none other than that annoying Russian bastard he can’t stand to look at for more than five seconds without getting the urge to kill something.
The NHL is under fire because Scott Hunter, star player for the New York Admirals, has just come out as gay after winning the Stanley Cup. But the issue isn’t him–the issue is the League’s reaction to all of it. Turns out being homophobic in this day and age can wreck your reputation and drive your stocks into the fucking ground. Who knew?
The League has designed a perfect plan to get back on top. Take two of their insanely talented, insanely popular players and turn them into the Pride Month poster boys. Make the League look good by acting like they’re together and heavily supported by them. Get their funding back and more good PR than they’ve ever gotten before. Please all their investors with the progressiveness they display. Foolproof.
