The scratch of a pen echoed steadily in the quiet of Smoker’s ship quarters, the only sounds the rustling of paper and the distant creak of wood shifting with the waves. He didn’t look up when he heard the small metallic click of the porthole sliding open. He only furrowed his eyebrows.
"Ace..." he growled slowly, not turning yet.
“Missed me?” came the cheerful, teasing voice of the Fire Fist himself. A warm breeze followed him in, carrying salt as Ace slipped swiftly through the porthole with the confidence of someone who has done this a million times before.
