    Summary

Waking up in a crumbling house after the end of her world wasn’t on Lin Wanning’s to-do list—especially not with a throat wound, a broken translator AI, and three strangers arguing over whether to kill her or wait for someone named Elijah.

In her time, vampires were just fiction. Now, one has just bitten her.

Armed with post-apocalyptic medical skills, a hoarding problem, and a glitchy spatial chip, Wanning has zero time to adjust before soulmarks, ancient bloodlines, and dangerously attractive immortals start pulling her into a plot she was never meant to be part of.

She survived the end of the world once. She can probably survive being soul-bound to four dangerously unstable Originals.

    Probably.

[[[The seat beneath her feels too soft. Her bones don’t trust softness anymore.]]]

    ***

    [[[The soulmark.

Yes. That is a truth. But another truth pierces more deeply, laid bare in Maisie’s voice—not her words, but the place they come from. That trembling thread of abandonment too familiar to ignore.

He has heard it before. In the final scream of Leif, who died trying to protect his younger brother from the flames of raiders.

In the wide, silent eyes of Einar, who bled out in the snow beside his mother.

In his own chest—centuries of hollowness where his sons once laughed.

    He had failed them.

Not by malice. But by not being fast enough. Strong enough. Knowing enough.

    He was always too late.

And now, Maisie. Not blood of his blood. Not bound by spell or kinship. But she had looked at him and chosen to stay. Called him Da, in a whisper of terror and new hunger.

And in two short days—he had left her alone again.]]]

[[[Freya Mikaelsdottir does not falter. Her pace is measured, spine unbending beneath the weight of centuries.

She wears the fatigue of long life like a veil—dignified, but present. A single streak of silver cuts through her blonde braid, a quiet confession of the years she has not lived but endured.

Beside her, Eirik Finnson follows, silent as shadow. He walks with the vigilance of one twice his age—shoulders taut, expression set.

There is nothing left of the ten-year-old child he once was.]]]
    • [[[Agnes narrows her eyes. “Then what are you waiting for?”

“A moment,” Freya replies simply. “A moment where action will not doom the children we protect. I will not have Dahlia discover us for the sake of your urgency.” ]]]

    Summary

Thedas is stuck in a time-loop, doomed to repeat the last millennium over and over again. It starts with the Blight and ends with Fen'Harel tearing down the Veil, only to restart and repeat with no lessons having been learned and only a few individuals aware of the problem. Mythal desperately wants this cycle to end and found people outside her universe. She asked them to come break the pattern, but they have other ideas.

Let's take a few over-powered people with skills Thedas has never seen and give them a new Inquisition to play with. What's more dangerous: the blade you see coming or the one you never expected in the darkness between the stars?

    Connie "Firebird" is Portia's cousin.
Verrus and Livilla are Connie's father and mother.
Verrus' older sister is Portia's mother.
Jeva and Rontari are Verrus' great-grandparents. (Deceased, but living in the Fade)

Portia "Spark" volunteered to become Inky.

Livilla is an herbalist and therapist. Everyone in the Inner Circle must meet with her once per week for sessions.
    • She has threatened to make Leliana resign if she doesn't improve as a spymaster. Liv would take her place. Leliana is considering it, but Josie wants her to stay.

They are in Val Royeaux, having just arrived. Constance and Portia have Orlesian half masks of nonility. Constance tore the inn's owner to pieces and hired his two abused and underpaid workers Quill and Bellamy to work at their family estate in town.

    Summary

“Miss Cassandra,” the words were barely audible to her own ears. “My brother—Astarion—if I die, you must find him,” she pleaded with the woman swimming doubles in her vision. “If you cannot free him, swear to me you’ll kill him.”

The Cassandras said something inaudible and nodded, hands on their swords.

    It would have to do.

Facing forward, Thaya found the thread, pulled it taut, and the world fell back into a familiar darkness.

    Or

Astarion's "sister" winds up in Thedas.

    Finished chapter 13

Thaya and Astarion are a matched set. She looks like a modern-day elf, all wispy and fragile because she was turned young. Her parents were druids. She has been a vampire spawn for 2 centuries. Her being away from Cazador means that Astarion is being punished.
    • Astarion seems like an elvhen to Solas who has only seen him via a Devotion spirit who is drawn to Thaya.

Thaya knows nothing about Thedas. It took her weeks to realize that people could be staring at her because she is an elf. Cover story is that she is a Tevinter slave (and she keeps talking about wanting to go.back).

Emotions are foreign to her bc Cazador usually keeps her mind firmly under his control, so she is used to having no say in what happens to her body and can dissociate into a mask.

    Summary

Lelou has survived the Commonwealth and shifted the power to the Institute, to herself. After the loss of her son, she has thrown herself into making the world function again, disregarding herself in the process. A year has passed since she took over and she has become feared and loved leader, who takes no bull and gives no false promises. When a new teleportation relay is tested, she decides to be the first to try it.

Fallout character ends up in Thedas. Lelou is my character from Fallout 4 (I'm a perk hoarder, so she's pretty buffed)

    Finished chapter 74

Evelyn Trevelyan hates Lelou simply due to rumors about Lelou and Cullen. The two have only interacted when Lelou was in trouble or getting assigned as the Herald's horse handler. Evelyn is "barely an adult", so 16-18 years old.

Lelou is from the Commonwealth of Fallout 4. She has two dogs: Dogmeat and Blitz (a nightmare of an animal). She has two vocal boxes, the second calms animals and monsters (even darkspawn). Her bones all have metal webbing on them and her eyes glow in the dark, like an elf.

Lelou's horse "Bastard" is very stubborn and free-willed. He will bite people, he has kicked Lelou in the hip, and likes to run away or cause a commotion often.

Solas sneaks into Lelou's memories at night sometimes because she doesn't really dream but experiences her memories at night; to Solas, Lelou feels "whole" in the Fade, like an elvhen. She never remembers her nightly "dreams" anyways, never has.

Lelou knows that Solas is aware of her otherworldly origins.

In ch71, Lelou hears her son's voice calling for her in Thedas while the gang is fighting demons at a rift for over two hours.
