    A hug, or at least proper physical proximity so that she could feel that the Doctor was truly with her.
    Yaz patted the space on the step to her right. ‘For starters, I want you to come out of the shadows and sit down with me.’

     

    Yaz has been having the feeling of the Doctor repeatedly sneaking out when she is asleep. Tonight, she has had enough of worrying and waits for her in the control room.
    Her suspicion gets confirmed, but the place the Doctor leaves to and the reason behind it is nothing that she could have expected.
