Summary
“You’d better not be imprinting on my sister right now, Fido,” Lizzie scoffed.
Immediately, Hope choked on her milkshake, her eyes swerving around to stare at Lizzie. “Imprinting?!”
Or,
Lizzie finds the one weak spot in Hope’s armor and won’t stop poking at it.

Summary
“She thinks you’re her girlfriend.”
Okay - that’s - that’s unexpected. But fine. She’s fine. Hope’s not her girlfriend, she’s not Hope’s girlfriend and someone will tell her that and it will be fine, and soon enough, Hope will remember that she’s in love with Landon. She’ll work on bringing him back to life and out of his coma. Magic can be weird. Weird stuff happens.
“Well, did someone tell her I’m not?”
The nervous glances are back.

Summary
"Shit!" Hope exclaims, lifting her foot up tenderly and looking confused at the colorful bricks that lie in the middle of the hallway. Legos?
"Hope? Is that you?" she heard a voice call from the kitchen. Hope kicked the Legos to the side of the hallway and continued to the kitchen, the puzzled look on her face falling away when she entered the room.
Josie stood in the middle of the kitchen, an apron tied around her waist and her hair tied up in a ponytail, tendrils of her brown locks falling on her forehead, framing her face.
"Jo."

having a (semi-)responsibly territorial girlfriend by flabghast

Summary
Hope was… a territorial girlfriend. Perhaps Josie should’ve expected this, especially when considering Hope had never been known to do things in halves—but, really… to this degree?
(She’ll admit there was a not-so-small part of her that enjoyed it—the less-than-subtle aggression, the firmer-than-necessary kissing in the halls, the overarching possessiveness of it all.)
Or: Hope and Josie are dating. Hope can get a little... overprotective about it. (And maybe, just maybe, Josie kind of sort of likes it. A lot.)
