Summary
During the Heian period of Japan and within the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, the reader escapes from her hometown village in Ezo, modern day Hokkaido, to the Kii province, modern day Wakayama, in search of someone referred to as the King of Curses. Having spent her entire life plagued by a special ability within her hands she refers to as a "curse", the reader hopes this King of Curses, aka Sukuna, will remove her curse after finding him so she may live a normal life, or at least die in peace. However, upon meeting him the reader discovers the true nature of her ability, as well as her family history.
With her reality shattered and nothing left of this world worth caring for, the reader follows Sukuna and becomes a weapon for him. Through her training, the reader learns more of Sukuna's past and allows herself to lean into her inner insanity, forming a close bond with Sukuna and the pair becoming a destructive force to be reckoned with.

Summary
Nanami Kento was dead for 37 minutes before cursed speech brought him back to life. Beyond a massive source of cursed energy, many things needed to come together for such a thing to work in his favour: (1) a reverse cursed technique user whose energy would be (2) compatible with his, and who also just so happened to (3) have the ability to perceive what the shape of Nanami’s soul looked like.
But even if that were possible, the side effects of using cursed speech to revive someone would be unthinkable on the body of anyone who would dare cast it. The only person willing to pay that price is lying in a coma besides Nanami at the hospital when he wakes up: Inumaki Kairi, who he saw for the last time seven years ago.
As the weeks go by in the recovery ward, Nanami trudges through his memories of Kairi during his last two years at Tokyo Jujutsu High, searching within himself for the real reason he abandoned the sorcerer world at the time.
