    Summary

Master Jinn meets the eye of this child in silence and then, he kneels. Before Obi-Wan, he kneels. And yet, Obi-Wan, bandaged and misshaped by heavy, inflexible cloth, does not go to him. He lowers his blanket-hooded face to the ground and stares there. Tired.

Anakin’s master has never seemed so far gone. He looks but does not see. Master Jinn carefully brings his hand up and cups Obi-Wan’s young cheeks and chin. He looks into those eyes now and they say nothing to each other.

(Anakin and Ahsoka witness the reunion of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in the aftermath of Melida/Daan. It isn't pretty.)

    Summary

“The water is not talking to you, Obi-Wan,” Feemor says without chastisement in his tone. “That’s the force you’re feeling, from the trees maybe.” The clippers turn back on. “Or a fish.”
    “Bones,” Obi-Wan says.
    The clippers turn off again.
“Bones,” Obi-Wan repeats. “I want to be bones.”
“You’re already bones. Where’d you get that idea?”
Qui-Gon steps quietly closer to the door.
“You’re scaring me, O’Ben,” Feemor says softly.

(Obi-Wan suffers from a genetic and force-based condition that makes him want to drown himself in a bog. And sometimes that bog is the shape of a sink.)

    Summary

"Is there anything you would like Obi-wan? I'll allow you to pick something out as a treat." Obi-wan shook his head, because what he truly wanted was to go back to his room in the temple, with the toys he already owned and his safe, comfortable bed. "No master, now may we *please* go home?"

Qui-gon takes his young Padawan to the lower levels, which Obi-wan truly hated. Especially when he gets separated from his dear master and has to find his own way back to safety.
