Summary
Ameliorate, by definition, means to make something better. So I guess the question is whether or not all the of the challenges and changes that Lexa and Clarke are going to be faced with will ultimately ameliorate them or not.
Pristine: in its original condition; unspoiled; clean and fresh as if new; spotless.
Tainted: contaminated or polluted (by something); affected with a bad or undesirable quality.
