   Summary

   Nimona is back, but the Kingdom she returns to is in the midst of a political upheaval. While the commoners rally for democracy, the monarchy’s foundation of lies begins to crack.

   Meanwhile, Ballister tries to welcome Nimona home, but home isn’t the same with Gloreth’s direct descendant living with them.

   And if all that wasn’t enough, Nimona is now forced to decide what role she wants to play in this new world. History has taught her that humanity’s love is fickle and she is best to remain hidden away. The alternative is to step out of the shadows and be unapologetically herself. If one person can love everything that she is, is it possible that others can too?
