Will looked up at him from under his lashes. He looked scared and wanting all at once. Chance was sure he looked the same, and if not, he felt it. He’d always been good at faking it till he made it.
“How..” Will breathed out, “What do you think about me?”
“I think I want you.” Chance murmured, “I want you more than the way I want a friend.”

Mike honestly doesn’t know why he’s there, but somehow he finds himself poised to knock on Nancy’s door – when it opens abruptly in his face.
“You just gonna stand there like a weirdo? I heard you walk up to my door, like, five full minutes ago," she says. So, he wordlessly enters. Follows her. Sits on the bed next to her, feeling numb and so lost. She’s looking at him expectantly, but he doesn’t know what to say – doesn’t even know where to start. He looks down at his hands in his lap and starts picking at the hangnail he has.
“What made you choose Jonathon?” is what spills from his mouth suddenly.
