Everything was wrong. Joseph Crackstone cackled, as Bianca lay dead on the floor. Xavier with an arrow through his chest, through his heart. Thing lay there still. The flames licked the walls, almost hungry for blood.
Wednesday had stumbled to the school, a knife in her gut. A blur that resembled Enid, bloody and bruised, stood over her. She could vaguely hear her mumbling through her sniffles, a string of syllables - barely words and she tried to grasp her hand, slick with blood and sweat; some semblance of reassurance. It had all gone wrong, horribly wrong.
Goody Addams sat near her, in perfect clarity. They had discussed this earlier, in her vision, and she had simply chalked it up to be a ridiculous plan, barely probable, hardly possible. But now, this was the only solution they had.
“Do you accept these conditions?”
With all her will, she thought.
I accept.
Goody pressed the amulet against her chest and closed her eyes.

Wednesday didn’t expect anything to come from being forced to move to Nevermore. At least until the mysteries of the local murders seem to be surrounded by her werewolf roommate with sad eyes.
