Summary
May 2007, eighteen year old Jamie and seventeen year old Claire reluctantly give their child up for adoption after their parents persuade them it’s for the best. Claire holds a lot of resentment towards Jamie, his parents, and her own, so she moves down to London to become a doctor.
Thirteen years later, Claire returns to Inverness when her mother suffers a stroke and is in hospital. How will Claire react when she learns that the daughter she reluctantly gave away, has actually been living with the Fraser’s for most of her life, thinking Jamie was her older brother?
