Summary
Sirius made Harry his heir, but informed him that Grimmauld and the familial magics related to the Blacks won't acknowledge Harry as long as he's not a Black by blood. Thankfully, the House of Black has an arcane blood ritual which allows one of their members to pass traits onto someone else, thus making the recipient a Black in more than just name. There are only two problems with this: Sirius loves James, and the potion wipes out the influence of one of the parents. Sirius wants to replace Lily to get rid of those green eyes, then Harry will be perfect.
Harry is just very happy to have a daddy. He feels guilty about his mum, but she is gone and Sirius is here to protect and love him so he decides to go with it. The bonding activities after the adoption is wonderful, and it helps him take his mind off of losing his mom.
