It killed him that he might have, in the encounter with the demon, have endangered someone with his rash actions. If he did, it only served Tobias right to be the one getting the brunt of it instead. Grandfather surely raised him better than that.He is searching for the answer in Adam's eyes. He appears to be stricken. As if such a thought could even blossom in Tobi's head.
