She nods. She smiles but it's not right. It's not the smile I want. It looks resigned. It looks wrong.
“Sure Theo. I get it, I will see you around.” She steps back and I can't let it end there so I say one more thing. One more stupid thing. One more thing that I can't bring myself to regret.
“Hey Granger, I would really like it if we could be…not friends.” I hope she understands what I am asking. I hope I don't look as desperate as I feel.
Her soft, secret, smile makes it all worth it. Her eyes, they are full of that mischief that only the people who truly know her would recognize.
“Yeah Theo, I would like that. Not friends.”
POV- First person for Theo, third for everyone else.
This story follows Theodore from 4th year- the end of the war. It will be HEA. If you love soft boy Cinnamon roll Theo turned badass “touch her and die” Theo, pining, protective Draco, and bamf Hermione, you will enjoy this fic. Slow burn.

The profile image was black and white, three fingers of each hand up around their eyes while the person’s mouth was curled in a sneer that revealed their tongue tracing over one side of their teeth, white hair pushed back from their face. Fingernails painted black.
Written across the fingers just above his knuckles was the phrase “Sod Off.”
Christ, she was going to have a time managing this one.
