If Dazai was a little more sober, he might have felt guilty at spewing another web of lies right before his father’s face, but he was still a tad high, and too enthralled by his newest friend. He never really gets excited, or happy, but when he thinks about his night and the time they spent laughing at nothing was the most alive he’s felt in years. So, to answer the question of if he feels guilty? The answer is no. Dazai couldn’t really give a shit.
