Summary
Harry has just finished his second year of Hogwarts and has come home. But suddenly Severus Snape is knocking at the Dursleys door saying that Harry needs to be taken away to be under strict supervision because Sirius black as escaped and is after him. Harry is now under the care of Severus for the summer until Sirius is caught. But Snape soon seems to realize that this child needs to be protected in more ways than one.

Summary
The clock hit 7:55, and a knock sounded on the front door. Harry practically bounced across the room, honestly overjoyed to see whoever it was on the other side. No matter what, they were taking him away from the Dursleys, and that was all that mattered. He heard Vernon’s lumbering steps entering the hall, accompanied by the sharp click of Petunia’s heels, but he raced to reach the door first. A wide grin stretched his cheeks to their limits as he threw open the door.
And the smile fell right off his face.
Shrouded in darkness, fog swirling around the hem of his long, dark robes, face as dour as ever, and hair casting cruel shadows across his face, stood Severus Snape.

Summary
It's the beginning of second year and there's something off about Harry. His friends have noticed, his classmates have noticed, hell, even Severus Snape has noticed. Nevertheless, Severus attempts to protect Harry from the threat of outside forces and maybe even face some demons that are a little closer to home.
